Software Architect GCP & Google Anthos in EPAM Ukraine

DESCRIPTION

The Architect will work closely with customers and EPAM teams to design, implement and manage solutions using Google Cloud Platform and Google Anthos.

Skills

• Proven knowledge and experience in the field of architecture in Google Anthos
• Hands-on experience with Google Anthos and Migrate for Anthos
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience using version control systems, including GitHub
• Demonstrative experience of working with Linux-based operating systems
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift is considered a valuable asset
• Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively formulate technical problems and solutions
• Self-motivated and disciplined, able to work remotely and independently
• Willingness to undergo a project interview to ensure mutual compliance and consistency
• Knowledge of written and spoken English at Upper-Intermediate level and above (B2+)

Duties

• Designing, building and maintaining robust Google Anthos clusters for our suite of internal applications
• Automation of clusters to increase speed and efficiency, optimize system performance
• Lead the migration of applications from RedHat OpenShift to Google Anthos, ensuring a smooth transition
• Manage and maintain source code integrity through change and version control
• Collaborate synergistically with development and operations teams to successfully implement and continuously manage DevOps best practices
• Work directly with Google Cloud Platform to build and deploy Anthos-based architectures
• Solve complex problems in both production and non-production environments, providing critical support to maintain system performance and stability
