Shopify Solution Architect in EPAM Ukraine

We invite to our core team an experienced Shopify Solution Architect , who will directly participate in the construction of the Shopify practice and contribute to the deepening of expert knowledge in EPAM Ukraine.

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the Shopify and Shopify Plus platform, who is well versed in the processes of migrating and launching websites on Shopify, and understands how to use and configure relevant themes and functionality.

Our candidate must be able to apply a strategic approach to problem solving and decision making, analyze website performance metrics and use this data to make recommendations to optimize conversions and improve overall website performance.

Skills

• 5+ years of e-commerce solution development experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Shopify Solution Architect or similar role
• Knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Plus at an expert level, with proven experience of implementing at least two projects on the Shopify platform
• Professional level of written and oral communication to build effective relationships with stakeholders and quality performance of work related to the formation of architecture
• Experience with microservices, Event-driven architecture in highly loaded systems and applications
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of various architectural patterns and styles
• Experience with React
• Knowledge of the English language at the B2+ level

Duties

• Collaborate with customers and project stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements to further transform them into effective Shopify e-commerce solutions
• Provide expert guidance and consultative support to team members and clients in customizing Shopify themes, plugins, and integrations to meet project goals
• Develop a comprehensive migration or launch strategy based on each client's unique requirements
• Apply own experience using Shopify applications to extend the core features of the Shopify storefront and implement reactive solutions to meet customer needs
• Conduct quality testing of completed functions before handing over the solution to the client to verify compliance with requirements and project goals
• Optimize and refine Shopify solutions to improve performance, scalability, and user experience
• Build good relationships with clients and provide appropriate recommendations throughout the project cycle
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Shopify solutions
• Stay abreast of the latest Shopify and eCommerce trends and technologies to drive innovation, better business understanding, and better service delivery
• Document technical implementations, configurations and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing

Will be an advantage

• Possession of any architectural certificates from: Software Engineering Institute (SEI), The Open Group (TOGAF), International Association for all IT Architects (IASA)
