Senior Test Automation Engineer (Ruby) in EPAM Ukraine

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer (Ruby) to join our team. Our client is a product company. They create products for providing electronic identities and qualified trust services.

Responsibilities

• Balance testing efforts between automated and manual approaches, ensuring a comprehensive testing strategy (50% automated / 50% manual)
• Take ownership of the Quality Assurance (QA) process within the team, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct thorough manual testing for all new stories, features, and bug fixes
• Execute regression testing to ensure the stability of existing functionality after code changes
• Conduct end-to-end scenario testing to validate the system's functionality across various components and interactions
• Simulate and assess system performance under varying loads with multiple concurrent users
• Actively participate in the process of gathering and clarifying requirements to ensure a clear understanding of project needs
• Develop comprehensive test plans and effectively present them to stakeholders for review and approval
• Create detailed test cases, outlining steps and expected results to guide testing activities
• Regularly execute regression testing to ensure the stability of the application after each code change
• Proficiently carry out UI and API tests to verify the integrity and functionality of the user interface and underlying services
• Collaborate with team members to effectively coordinate efforts in developing and enhancing automation testing frameworks
• Efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities among QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and organized working environment
• Thoroughly document and report identified bugs using the designated task management service, ensuring clear communication with the development team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Test tools/technologies
• Proven expertise in automation using the Ruby programming language
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)
