Senior Software Test Automation Engineer (.NET) in EPAM Ukraine

Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience testing web applications and cloud services
• Hands-on experience using BDD
• Knowledge of C# (preferably .NET 6), Gherkin, JavaScript experience
• Knowledge of SpecFlow, Fluent Assertions, xUnit, use of live documentation
• Knowledge of contract testing using Pact
• Experience reporting testing status and publishing live documentation
• Experience with REST, Docker and Azur
• Knowledge of best practices that ensure software, database or systems security such as OWASP, NIST, etc
• Extensive knowledge of testing technologies and trends in the field of testing
• Understanding of continuous testing, continuous integration, git, branching strategies and DevOps concepts
• Performance testing experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be part of a cross-location team
• Ability to learn quickly and easily adapt to the needs of the project
• Excellent experience interpreting test requirements
• Ability to solve problems, analyze and make decisions
• The ability to resolve conflicts, difficult situations, the ability to persuade
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any IT related degree

Responsibilities

• Define quality assurance strategy for various requirements defined by the product manager
• Negotiate tradeoffs to ensure testability
• Provide continuous quality control during sprints
• Evaluate the profitability of tests
• Conduct training and mentoring events for other testers and developers
• Do high-level assessment as well as assessment at the level of low-level tasks
• Track test results and ensure successful tests before deployment to production
• Conduct search testing
• Provide the necessary coverage with functional and non-functional testing that meets the standards (including test design, test execution and error reporting)
• Ensure current documentation, adaptation of documentation for less technical stakeholders
• Report quality assurance status
• Identify risks and solve problems in a timely manner
• Continually work to improve quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with other quality assurance professionals to share knowledge and promote best practices to a wider audience
