We are looking for Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with CS background. Our customer is a start-up in automotive industry. They introduce a platform that car dealers use to sell cars online: ~4500 dealers using this platform and the number is continuously growing.
We are looking for Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with CS background.
Our customer is a start-up in automotive industry. They introduce a platform that car dealers use to sell cars online: ~4500 dealers using this platform and the number is continuously growing.
To keep up with demand and be able to scale, they are actively transitioning existing app to containers hosted in AWS Fargate serverless compute engine. Plus at some point, they'll migrate from MySQL to Cassandra type of DB.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Auto dealers platform migration to micro-services and cloud (AWS).
In the initial period you will be responsible to develop an existing platform:
• Ruby on Rails monolith backend
• Angular frontend

Requirements
- Deep knowledge and 3+ years of practical experience in Ruby on Rails
- Technology knowledge and skills
- Ability to analyse problems and root cause
- Desire to learn every day
- Good understanding of software development general principles
- Basic knowledge in front end technologies
- Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B1+)
