Senior Python Engineer in EPAM Ukraine

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Our client is a world-famous, publicly traded California-based multinational technology company (from the Big Five Tech list) specializing in consumer electronics, software, and online services.

The objective of the project is to create a newer version of the legacy failure analysis/reporting SafetyNet platform, migrate all existing data, recreate key workflows over SIDs while improving their efficiency, introduce workflow management, and add new capabilities:

• Secure integrations with external systems for automatic data retrieval

• Failure data analytics, metrics framework and comprehensive reporting capabilities

• Safety regulatory and legal/litigation reporting features

• Advanced search

• Robust administrative area with team management, workflows and SID details management

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement features for the new SafetyNet platform, focusing on improving user experience and efficiency
• Ensure secure integrations with external systems for automatic data retrieval
• Build robust failure data analytics, metrics framework, and comprehensive reporting capabilities
• Incorporate safety regulatory, legal, and litigation reporting features
• Develop advanced search functionalities
• Design and maintain a robust administrative area for team management, workflow, and SID details management

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
• Experience with SQLAlchemy and Pydantic
• Strong understanding of web development best practices and security standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B1+)

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of APIs and integration techniques
