Senior Machine Learning Engineer in EPAM Ukraine

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who will deal with the operationalization of computer vision models for object detection, extraction and classification.

We are working on improving the client tool that allows you to discover products on grocery shelves and provide additional metadata and attributes

Skills

• Experience as a machine learning or data engineer designing, building and deploying machine learning and data processing pipelines
• Good knowledge and experience in Python development
• Good understanding of the Python machine learning ecosystem (PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, pandas, sklearn, XGBoost, etc.)
• Good understanding of concepts and best practices for effectively deploying and maintaining machine learning models
• Experience with some platforms/technologies related to practices to effectively deploy and support machine learning models such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI / AI Platform, Databricks MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Argo Workflow, TensorFlow Extended ( TFX) etc
• Experience with basic software development tools such as git, a continuous integration and software deployment environment (such as Jenkins or Buildkite), PyPI, Docker, Kubernetes, unit tests, and object-oriented design in general

Duties

• Viewing and analyzing existing DS models, adjusting and parametrizing them as necessary
• Design, build, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the full machine learning lifecycle, which includes the following:
• Optimization of the machine learning model
• Data preparation
• Removal of features
• Model performance monitoring
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineering team to optimize performance of machine learning pipelines
• Installation and configuration of continuous integration and software deployment processes
• Continuous training in designing and maintaining machine learning models
• Providing capabilities for early detection of various drifts (data, concepts, schemes, etc.)
