Senior Embedded Software C++ Engineer in EPAM Ukraine

Our customer is a leader in e-Grocery technology with headquarters in North Billerica, Massachusetts, US.

We are looking for a SeniorEmbedded Software C++ Engineer for the offshore team. You will be involved in modifying firmware and setting up an emulation environment for the client's robotics product. Our position is about embedded software C++ (versions 11, 14) development with robotic experience.

Responsibilities

• Firmware/driver work
• Running the bot in the system, analyzing logs, and looking into data
• MatLab, Python
• Controls utilization
• Developing low-level device drivers
• Improving drivers

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++14) additionally Python
• Development experience on QNX/Linux platform
• Rust, RTOS, UBoot
• MatLab
• Yocto build system
• Familiarity with serial data protocols (CAN, SPI, etc)
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Trello
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)

• Prior experience in designing and programming robots (ROS)
