Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) in EPAM Ukraine

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take on a critical role in the design, implementation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform/ARM, monitoring, CI/CD and automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability and security of our cloud solutions.

Skills

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure Cloud
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including containerization concepts, deployment strategies, and management of container orchestration platforms such as AKS
• Ability to use Terraform for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and automation
• Familiarity with the concepts and implementation of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
• Deep understanding of networking principles, including virtual networks, load balancers, and security groups in the Azure ecosystem
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team with different functional responsibilities

Duties

• Design, implement and manage Azure Cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability and performance
• Design and implement Kubernetes-based container orchestration strategies using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to manage containerized applications
• Using Terraform to automate deployment and infrastructure management in Azure Cloud environments
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application deployment and adhere to best practices
• Cloud infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting, identifying and resolving performance, security and scalability issues
• Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect cloud resources, including access control, encryption and compliance requirements
• Providing technical support and mentoring to junior team members, creating a conducive environment for collaboration and knowledge sharing
