Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) in EPAM Ukraine

Our client is an international information and analytical conglomerate that specializes in providing information services, analytical resources, events and communication tools for various business sectors and professionals. Their activities cover various fields such as business, finance, pharmaceuticals, science, technology, art, media, literature and others.

The main goal of the project is to ensure the reliability of the platform, backup (DR) settings, description of DR testing procedure and its implementation, automation of environment creation, automation of CI/CD.

In this role, you will work with various AWS platforms including AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Simple Storage Service, AWS.Compute, and AWS.Containers.

Duties

• Development and support of AWS applications and services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Simple Storage Service, and Compute
• Design and deployment of scalable and fault-tolerant systems on the AWS platform
• Responsible for and maintaining the AWS infrastructure, using automation where possible
• Monitoring and analysis of system performance metrics, implementation of changes for optimization

Our ideal candidate

• Excellent skills in AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Simple Storage Service, Compute, Containers and Amazon Web Services
• Experience designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines using modern tools for both application code and infrastructure code, including:
• Understanding of GIT usage and branching practices
• Ability to collaborate successfully with other team members
• Knowledge of written and spoken English at Upper-Intermediate level and above (B2+)
