Senior Data Analyst in EPAM Ukraine

Our client is an American company that manufactures food products.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join a team working to build a common data model for the company. Our project is currently in the phase of collecting, understanding and describing various data sources. We aim to improve our data architecture and ensure good interoperability between different products and business lines.

A data analyst will focus on analyzing information sources, studying data and using it for various industries. His role may include collaboration with analytical and possibly business teams. The role may also involve working with modeling and data management.

The possibility of remote work is open only to those candidates who are located on the territory of Ukraine.

What will you do in this role?

• Analysis of data sources with the aim of deepening expert knowledge in the relevant area
• Performing data profiling and developing appropriate methods for their effective use
• Active participation in data modeling and development of relevant schemes
• Documenting data requirements and performing analysis to ensure data quality and compliance
• Collaborate with other teams to gather and collaborate on relevant data
• Conducting a data quality check to identify possible manipulations or errors

Our ideal candidate

• Deep understanding of SQL
• Proficiency in English at a level not lower than B2
• Understanding of data management concepts such as: data quality, lineage, cataloguing, discovery
• Experience working with large and complex data sets
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with documentation
• Critical thinking and problem solving experience
• Understanding of Databricks environment is a plus
