Lead Java Software Engineer in EPAM Ukraine

Our client is a leading information services provider of financial, property, and consumer information, analytics, and business intelligence. They analyze information assets and data to provide clients with analytics and customized data services

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software design and development
• Expertise in critical analysis, reverse engineering & troubleshooting
• Strong Java development skills
• Working knowledge of the Spring framework
• Experience working with Angular 2+ (TypeScript)
• Prior experience modernizing Java applications (specifically Struts/JSP apps) to Spring Boot and Angular
• Experience working in Cloud environments (GCP is preferable) is required
• Experience with stored procedures in MS SQL/Oracle is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently under general direction
• Ability to understand the business domain and match it with the technical implementation
• Upper-Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written (B2+)
• Ability to work shifted time, till 8 PM by Kyiv

Nice to have

• Messaging pipelines (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
• Experience/familiarity with RETS (Real Estate Transaction Standard) dataset
