Their mission is to facilitate the shift of European farmers towards a more sustainable and adaptable agriculture by offering them an extensive range of options to select their preferred production approach.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build data-intensive applications
- Implement scalable and high-performance data processing architectures
- Apply data mining techniques and algorithms to solve complex data-related problems
- Develop and manage databases, including data integration, schema design, data migration, and security
- Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement of software engineering best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a data software engineer
- Excellent skills in Apache Spark, Databricks, PySpark, and SQL
- Experienced in data modelling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts
- Proficient in data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- English language proficiency at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL Databases
