As a WordPress Specialist in the Business Innovation Group, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a talented team to shape the future of user-centred websites and applications. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain WordPress websites to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business needs. Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement new features and improvements. Ensure website security, backup, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments, trends, and best practices. WordPress Essentials: Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality, themes, and plugins. Experience creating and managing content (pages, posts, media). Ability to customize website appearance using themes and plugins. Knowledge of basic SEO principles for WordPress. Secondary Technical Skills: Familiarity with Git for version control. Understanding of cloud hosting concepts, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipeline. Basic understanding of SQL for querying WordPress database. Optional: Familiarity with security best practices for WordPress websites. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for minor customization needs). Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) (to track website performance and implement tracking).  Why Join Us: Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive and inclusive work environment where collaboration and teamwork are at the core of everything we do.
