NGO "LGBT Association "LIGA" develops an active volunteer base in Kyiv, Odesa and Mykolaiv, which is an important resource for implementing programs and protecting the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
The increase in the number of initiatives and the need for a more systematic approach to working with volunteers made it necessary to introduce the position of Consultant for the development of the volunteer movement. The introduction of this position will allow not only more effective support and scaling of the volunteer movement, but will also contribute to the formation of the organization's personnel reserve of active and motivated community members.

Key goal positions

- To strengthen the volunteer movement in the divisions of the NGO "LGBT Association" by creating an effective system of attracting, training and supporting volunteers, which will contribute to the development of an inclusive, sustainable and active community. activist_ok-volunteer_ok, who in the future may join the team as new personnel.

Main tasks and expected results

  1. Analysis and evaluation of the current state
  • To carry out a diagnosis of the existing system of volunteering in Kyiv, Odesa and Mykolaiv.
  • To identify strengths and problem areas in working with volunteers.
  • Prepare a short analytical report with recommendations.

Expected result: Analysis report and road map development.

  1. Development of a strategy and development plan
  • Form a strategy for the development of the volunteer movement (short- and medium-term goals).
  • Include mechanisms for identifying, training and supporting active volunteers who are able to become part of the staff in the future.
  • Propose a system of motivation and retention of volunteers.

Expected result: Approved artstrategic and operational plan with an element of personnel reserve.

  1. Volunteer recruitment and coordination
  • Develop a recruitment process volunteers (announcements, interviews, selection).
  • Maintain a database of volunteers and communicate with them (online and offline).
  • Identify among activists potential candidates for further professional growth.

Expected result: Active base of volunteers, increase in involvement and formation of personnel reserve.

  1. Education and motivational activities. to join the staff in the future.
  2. Develop a "Volunteer Handbook" with basic rules and values.
  3. Expected result: Increased competence of volunteers, trained personnel reserve.

    1. Partnership and cooperation
      Establish contacts with local and national volunteer initiatives.
    • Organize the exchange of experience with other organizations.
    • Help involve volunteers in joint projects.

    Expected result: Expanded circle of partners and new opportunities for volunteer_ok.

    1. Monitoring and reporting
    • Develop a system for evaluating the effectiveness of volunteer programs.
    • Include indicators for the development of the personnel reserve.
    • Prepare monthly and final reports on achievements, challenges and recommendations.

    Pointsexpected result: Regular reports taking into account the dynamics of involvement and professional development of volunteers_ok.

    1. Personnel reserve

    Task:

    • To identify among the volunteers the most active and motivated participants who can become potential employees of the NGO "LGBT Association".
    • Develop a competency development program for such volunteers (mentoring, training, individual growth plan).
    • Create a transparent transition mechanism from volunteering to potential employment.

    Expected results:

    • Volunteer base formed, which are considered as personnel reserve.
    • Increased level of readiness of volunteers for professional roles in the NGO "LGBT Association". style="font-weight: bold">Candidate requirements

      • Experience in volunteering or program coordination (from 1 year).
      • Understanding the principles equality, inclusion and rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
      • High communication and facilitation skills.
      • Initiative, autonomy, responsibility.
      • Desirable: experience of regional work and remote coordination of teams.
      • In her activities, the service provider must be guided by the norms of the "Regulations on volunteering in the NGO "LGBT Association" as well as comply with other policies and regulations in force in organization.

      Terms of cooperation

      • Part-time employment (flexible schedule).
      • City of provision of services - Odesa.
      • Period from March 2026 for a period of up to 20 months.
      • Agreement with FOP Z rrupa (or willingness todigging the FOP until the moment of signing the contract).
      • Monthly submission of a report of the approved form on the services provided, taking into account the number of hours.
      • Payment: according to the act of services provided, approved by the parties.
      • Working in close cooperation with the team "LIGA LGBT Association" and an active volunteer base.
      • In its activities, the service provider must comply with the policies and regulations in force in the NGO "LGBT Association "LIGA".
