The position will operate within the framework of the project "Advocacy, protection and legal assistance to the internally displaced population of Ukraine" with the financial support of UNHCR style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal">Temporary Accommodation Coordination (TCM) and Management (CCCM) is the name of the standardized coordination mechanisms used to work with refugees through the Refugee Coordination Model and also implemented through the CCCM Cluster. CCCM mechanisms ensure effective service delivery and protection for displaced persons in all types of habitats, urban or rural, and regardless of whether they live in purpose-built facilities, unplanned settlements, self-settlement, compact settlements, temporary accommodation or transit centres. 

meetings, training courses, etc., for IDP residents, aimed at informing about issues of access to basic services, awareness of humanitarian principles, acquiring new skills, gradual integration of IDPs into host communities, as well as preparation for returning to their original way of life, consolidation of IDPs, etc. And also the organization of informational and educational events for IDPs and representatives of places of temporary residence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regular monitoring of identified MTPs;

  • Regular assessment of the needs, including informational and educational, of IDPs living in IDPs;

  • Organization of information and educational activities;

  • Independent organization and holding of trainings, information sessions and other events for IDPs or representatives of the ITP;

  • Developing a plan of events, finding trainers and facilitators (if necessary) for their implementation;

  • Involvement of IDP residents in joint activities and development of their own collective initiatives;

  • Informational and advisory support of MTP residents on humanitarian issues;

  • In close cooperation with IDPs, the organization of activities aimed at improving living conditions in MTP, integration into the community, etc.;

  • Regular reporting on achieved results;

  • Understanding and ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct and other Foundation policies;

  • Preference is given to candidates who have their own car.

Professional requirements

  • Higher education in social sciences, law, human rights, economics, international relations, business administration or other relevant fields;

  • At least 1 year of work in the humanitarian field;

  • Awareness of MTP work and MTP-based monitoring;

  • Proficient use of MS office;

  • Understanding humanitarian principles and gender approach;

  • Strong sense of personal integrity and attention to detail and ability to work in challenging environments;

  • Strong communication skills, independence in work, proactivity and flexibility;

  • Experience in organizing and conducting trainings or similar events;

  • Experience of public speaking, conducting and organizing information and educational events.

Knowledge of the English language and experience working in an international environment will be an advantage.
