Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD)created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine and their influence on state policy in the field of child rights.

Duties:

- creation of a two-day regional training program on the provision of life support service Psychosocial support, adapted to the specifics of communities of the Volyn region with the use of various methods and techniques, preparation of visual methodical materials using presentation forms for work of the project;

- preparation and conducting of regional training for specialists in social work of the communities of Volhynia oblast in order to improve the qualifications of participants in the field of life support service provision Psychosocial support by providing knowledge and skills for effective planning, coordination and implementation of services for persons in need of support (vulnerable population groups, persons in crisis situations etc.), 

Main training tasks:

-raising awareness of psychosocial support by introducing participants to the basic concepts of psychosocial support, its meaning and principles;

-development of the skills of providing primary psychosocial support by mastering the basic methods of primary aid in crisis situations, development of skills of emotional response to stressful situations and working with strong emotions in clients, development of the ability to provide psychological support during traumatic events, such as such as losses, disasters, violence or war;

-development of skills in determining the psychosocial needs of a person or a group of persons based on their situation and experience, development of the ability to assess the level of stress and traumatization, identification of factors that may be important for providing adequate support, learning ways of working with people , who have experienced post-traumatic stress, violence or loss of loved ones;

-teaching self-help and emotional regulation techniques for social workers, psychologists and other professionals to avoid burnout and emotional burnout;

-teaching ethical norms of work in the conditions of psychosocial support: confidentiality, impartiality, respect for human rights and dignity, definition of professional role boundaries and personal boundaries in work with clients and consideration of issuesregarding work with people in difficult situations, without violating their rights and freedom;

-development of effective cooperation skills within the framework of intersectoral initiatives and crisis situations;

- upon completion of the regional training reporting to the Organizer (event program, list of participants, presentation, feedback forms, photos, etc.);

Requirements:

- higher education in the relevant field

- at least 5 years of coaching experience;

5-10 years of experience in the field of social services;

- have a positive experienceconducting events for social service providers from 3 to 5 years, including online;

- experience in developing social service trainingspsychosocial support;

- a high level of knowledge of national legislation on the protection of children's rights, creation and provision of social services;

- excellent presentation/teaching/documentation skills.
