Trader (electricity), purchase/sale manager in ALVIVA GROUP

Our team is looking for a Trader / manager of electricity trading.

Purpose
Ensuring the company's trading operations in the organized segments of the electricity market of Ukraine, managing the trading position and participating in the formation of the procurement strategy, including import operations.

Our future employee:

• has a higher education (preferably energy, economics, finance, analytics);

• has work experience from 1 to 3 years (preferably in electricity suppliers, in trading companies, energy holdings);                                            
  
  Necessary knowledge:
• Law of Ukraine "On the Electric Energy Market";
• Market rules;
• Rules of the Russian Federation / VDR;
• Principles of balancing market;
• Principles of price formation in the electricity market; 
• Desirable: understanding of European electricity markets, principles of arbitration between markets.                                                                               

Analytical skills:

• Advanced Excel;
• Working with arrays of data;
• Pivot tables; 
• Desirable: Power BI, forecasting skills.

TASKS AHEAD OF THE FUTURE EMPLOYEE

• The candidate must ensure trading operations:

• Implementation daily trading operations on the electricity market;
• Placement and management of purchase/sale applications on: RDN, VDR;
• Participation in auctions on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange;
• Control of the results of auctions, volumes and prices.

• Management of the purchase portfolio:

  • Participation in the formation of the purchase strategies;
  • Management of the company's short-term position;
  • Market analysis and trade decision-making.

• Work with contracts:

  • Support of bilateral contracts;
  • Interaction with counterparties;
  • Agreement of commercial conditions.

  Working with platforms and systems:

  • XMtrade;
  • MMS;
  • UEB;
  • DataHub (preferred);
  • BETS (preferred).

• Interaction with:

  • Market operator;
  • NEC "Ukrenergo";
  • OSR;
  • Exchange platforms.

• Analytics and reporting:

  • Analysis of demand and supply;
  • Preparation of trade analytics;
  • Formation of internal reports;
  • Preparation of REMIT reporting.

• Import-export operations (preferred):

  • Participation in the organization of import operations;
  • Interaction with international traders;
  • Working with cross-border contracts.
