Responsibilities:
Functional testing
- Development and updating of test plans and checklists for new products
- Functional testing of boards and modules according to the technical task
- Firmware verification: loading, basic behavior verification
- Interface testing: UART, SPI, I2C, USB - analysis traffic with an oscilloscope / logic analyzer
Measurement and analysis
- Measurement of electrical parameters: power, consumption, signal levels, timing diagrams
- RF testing: power level, sensitivity, frequency range check (spectrum analyzer)
- Analysis and localization of failures, documentation of defects in the tracking system
- Participation in failure analysis together with circuit engineers
Documentation and processes
- Maintenance of test documentation: protocols, reports, defect statistics
- Formation of accept/reject criteria for serial production
- Participation in code review of test scripts and automated stands
Requirements:
Mandatory
- Experience in hardware testing for at least 1 year
- Confident work with an oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer
- Ability to read schematic diagrams and PCB documentation
- Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C interfaces at the level oscillograms
- Experience writing test cases and test documentation
- Basic scripting skills (Python or bash) for automation
Desired
- Experience in RF testing (spectrum analyzer, vector network analyzer)
- Familiarity with STM32 or similar MCUs (firmware, debug via SWD/JTAG)
- Experience with FreeRTOS or bare-metal firmware at test level
- Understanding the principles of coaxial circuits, antennas, impedance matching
- Experience with SMT equipment or debugging benches is an advantage
