Work Experience: ~5 years as a Technical Director or Lead Programmer

We are seeking an ideal candidate to drive the technical vision of a new game from scratch. This role involves developing the technical strategy and roadmap, and handling team recruitment and development. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, launching, and supporting a multiplayer game from inception to release, participating in planning and budgeting, and building a team of programmers.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement the project’s technical strategy
Create the game’s architecture
Coordinate the work of programmers and game designers, develop requirements, and make key technical decisions regarding the game’s aspects
Actively participate in team recruitment
Own the game’s technical state
Make decisions on forming the project’s technical stack around Unreal Engine

Requirements:

A passion for games!
~5 years of experience as a Technical Director or Lead Programmer
Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and its tools
Excellent knowledge of C++
Experience working on a multiplayer game
A released game in your portfolio (from concept to release)
Understanding of live ops and associated challenges
English: Upper-Intermediate.
