The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced technical specialist to act as a key link between stakeholders and the development team. The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Ministry in the areas of collection, capture, analysis of business requirements and their transformation into clear, logical and technically literate specifications, technical requirements and terms of reference for software development on a microservice architecture.
OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis and decomposition of requirements: collection, analysis and formalization of business requirements, their decomposition into functional and non-functional requirements. exceptions and exchange of messages.
Participation in the design of the system of interaction of information systems within the framework of the execution of business processes.
Determine data quality requirements .
Maintenance of documentation: participation in the creation and maintenance of technical documents(specifications, technical requirements, technical tasks, description of business processes in BPMN notation, user stories, use cases). from legislative and regulatory provisions to the description of business processes, system requirements and their actual implementation.
Communication: close interaction with representatives of the Ministry, developers, by testers, architects and product managers to ensure a common understanding of tasks and requirements detail.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Fluency in the Ukrainian language (including business) sufficient for business communication
Requirements for the development of documentation:
Experience as a business analyst or implementation consultant
Requirements for describing business processes:
Proficiency in UML (Use Case) and BPMN notations for describing processes.
Experience creating architecture diagrams and data flows (Camunda, draw.io, Miro, PlantUML or similar).
Tools and methodologies:
Experience of working within flexible methodologies (Agile: Scrum/Kanban).
Experience with task and project management systems (eg Jira, Confluence).
Skills of business communication and teamwork (Soft Skills):
2 years of work experience as a business analyst, system analyst or technical product manager in IT.
Systems thinking: the ability to see the "big picture" and simultaneously dive into the details.
Analytical skills: the ability to structure information, identify dependencies and find optimal solutions.
Communication: the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and clearly to a non-technical audience and vice versa.
Attention to detail and proactivity.
Preference will be:
Understanding API principles and ability to work with ready-made API documentation (eg Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI).
Interface design: participation in the creation and description of user interfaces (UI) at the level of logic and components (wireframes), as well as application programming interfaces (APIs).
Understanding the features of relational and non-relational databases, experience of practical work with them: participation in the design of the logical structure of databases, description of entities, attributes and relationships between them (ER-diagrams).
Understanding the principles, advantages and disadvantages of microservice architecture. Experience describing systems built on microservices. Description of the architecture and interaction of services and data flows between microservices.
Research and analysis of current legislation, conducting interviews with stakeholders to determine business rules, decision-making logic and emerging exceptions.
