System administrator in Derzhavniy Operator Tilu

We are looking for a system administrator to build the capacity of the newly created procurement agency under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.< /p>

The State Operator of the Home Front (DOT) is a state agency that provides for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Guided by the principles of integrity and people-centeredness, we supply food, clothing and fuel for the needs of the military.

We are convinced that supplying the army should not only be interesting to the market, but also honorable. Our task is to develop an appropriate system of relations with suppliers, increasing the value of each invested hryvnia of the state budget.

Main duties:

• Employee support and interaction through the ServiceDesk system.
• Support and administration of systems.
• Administration of users in information systems.
• Installation, configuration and support of software and hardware components.
• Administration and support of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Accounting, receiving and issuing, supporting the functioning of IT equipment and office equipment.
• Regular updating and patching of systems with necessary updates.
• Execution backup procedures to ensure data backup and availability.
• Monitoring the state of functioning of IT systems.
• Rapid response to system unavailability and critical user problems.
• Installation and support of software solutions for users
• Development of basic documentation and keeping it up-to-date.
• Providing recommendations for scaling or optimizing the infrastructure to meet business needs.

Basic requirements:

• Experience of working in a similar position for at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of administration and support of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience of working in Service Desk systems and its implementation.
• Experience in administration and support of IT systems.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
• Developed communication skills to communicate with system users.

It will be an additional plus:

• Experience of working with cloud infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure and VMware.
• Experience of robotsand with Microsoft solutions.
• Understanding of network principles, including routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and DNS.
• Ability to work with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or other DevOps- tools.
• Experience in the administration and support of security solutions (DLP, NGFW, EDR|XDR, PAM, SIEM).
• Experience in government agencies.
