BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a recognized leader of the human rights movement in Ukraine. The foundation has strong positions in the field of protection of the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees and stateless persons.< /span>
legal and psychosocial assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya, and Sumy regions. Today, the Fund works in almost all regional centers of Ukraine and communities within the respective regions.PROJECT DESCRIPTION
"SHIELD : Support, Humanitarian Response and Strengthening of Local Resilience in Ukraine".The project is aimed at solving the needs of vulnerable groups of IDPs, returnees and people affected by the conflict in hard-to-reach regions close to the front line and in selected places of collective living in the central regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the MTP specialist includes areas of organizational, methodological and informational support in the implementation of project tasks. The professional is responsible for assisting in standards development, emergency planning, and information management. His/her primary goal is to help create the humanitarian space needed to effectively protect and assist displaced persons. The specialist performs the tasks of coordinating the activities of IDPs, setting up processes for solving the difficult life circumstances of internally displaced families, by improving access to services, organizing a safe space for IDPs, and implementing tools for solving and eliminating the problems of such IDPs. One of the important directions will also beorganization and holding of trainings, events, informational meetings for MTP residents aimed at awareness regarding access to priority needs, services on the ground, community capacities and gradual integration of IDPs into society, as well as preparation for the return of people to their original way of life.Update of contact databases;
Regular monitoring of IDP residences;
Organization and coordination meetings of MTP residents and stakeholders;
Help in identifying vulnerable beneficiaries;" p>
Support in providing humanitarian aid to places of compact living;
Development of partnerships with local authorities, beneficiaries, communities, humanitarian organizations and other interested parties;
Help in the development of project documentation;
Regular assessment of the needs, including informational and educational, of IDPs living in IDPs;
Organization of information and educational activities;
Development of a plan of events in accordance with the agreed topics;
Organization and control of the work of trainers and facilitators (if necessary);
Involvement of IDP residents in joint activities and development of their own collective initiatives;
Documentary support and assistance in the implementation of initiatives of MTP residents;
Informational and advisory support of MTP residents on humanitarian issues;
In close cooperation with IDPs, the organization of activities aimed at improving living conditions in MTP;
Regular reporting on achieved results;
Understanding and ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct and other Foundation policies.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
higher education in the field of social sciences, pedagogical sciences, psychology, management, law or other related field;
work experience in the humanitarian sphere or charity projects;
knowledge of national legislation in the field of population protection and IDPs;
knowledge of internal displacement issues;
knowledge of the region and the socio-political situation in the region;
good planning skills and focus on achieving results;
excellent communication skills;
ability to work independently and in a team to meet deadlines;
mastery of Excel, Word, Google;
flexibility, the ability to build relationships in a team based on trust and friendship;
aspiration and ability for self-improvement and development;
knowledge of humanitarian principles;
