DUTIES AND TASKS

Under the direct supervision of the senior monitoring specialist, and the overall supervision of the security coordinator, the employee must:

  • according to the approved plan in order to fulfill the tasks provided by the project;

  • monitor compliance with the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons (hereinafter - IDPs) and persons injured as a result of hostilities, on a permanent basis in the given locations according to the existing methodology;

  • establish relations with representatives of local self-government bodies, institutions that provide social services for the population, and administrations of places of compact residence of IDPs;

  • to communicate with IDPs, persons affected by hostilities, representatives of government institutions and non-governmental organizations, in order to collect information about the humanitarian situation as a whole;

  • according to the existing methodology, to assess the needs of IDPs, the affected population, as well as institutions that provide social and other types of services for the population.

  • take an active part in collecting the necessary documents for further assistance;

  • take direct part in the transfer of material values;

  • accompany the distribution of humanitarian aid with the necessary documentation

  • conduct post-distribution monitoring;

  • participate in local and national research in the field of protection.

  • identify potential beneficiaries and refer them to legal, social and psychological support specialists;

  • if necessary, provide non-legal advice for IDPs and the population affected by hostilities;

  • provide comprehensive support in organizing the work of other specialists of the mobile group;

  • to submit timely reports on the results of monitoring visits;

  • timely and fully display information about individual and group work with beneficiaries in the IDPs CRM system;

  • perform other tasks as needed

Professional requirements

  • higher education (preferably: sociology, law, journalism);

  • preferred knowledge of human rights;

  • willingness to work in the "fields" (outside the office);

  • willingness to travel and overtime;

  • knowledge and understanding of IDPs and the territory of OOC; li>

  • the ability to collect information according to the goals and objectives of the project;

  • < p>skills to prepare reports (analytical, on a separate incident, etc.);

  • understanding humanitarian principles;

  • excellent communication skills, readiness for daily communication with people (IDPs, representatives of government institutions, etc.);

  • self-motivation;

  • flexibility.

Residence in the specified location and awareness of the local situation will be significant advantages. Preference will also be given to IDPs who have lost their jobs due to displacement.
