BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of military operations, refugees and stateless persons. The Foundation is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of the protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. population and improving the resilience skills of first responders" aims to protect and support the rights of internally displaced persons, war-affected populations, stateless persons, as well as veterans and their families at the national, local and individual levels. In 2026, as part of the project, the Fund will monitor the protection of the rights of IDPs and provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, veterans and their families in the regions of Ukraine. Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and the needs of the project.

The project is looking for aSpecialist/official on social issues to work with vulnerable categories of the population (Care at home) in Poltava (Poltava Region).

OBJECTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identification of persons with disabilities and/or elderly persons in need of social support;
• Conduct assessment of the needs of beneficiaries in social services and social assistance;
• Provision of social services according to needs, as well as home care services (assistance in self-care, movement in household conditions, running a household, organizing interaction with other specialists and services; assistance in providing technical means of rehabilitation, training in the skills of using them; informing and representing interests);
• Assistance in affected persons / beneficiaries in receiving additional services (medical, social, psychological, legal, provision of temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral, if necessary, to the relevant general or specialized support services for affected persons and / or other entities;
• Maintaining contact with local authorities and its institutions, as well as other humanitarian organizations;
• Participation in writing analytical reports, making data prabout the provided services of the internal data accounting program and the implementation of other current tasks within the framework of the project implementation.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education is desirable in the field of social, legal, psychological or humanitarian Sciences;
• Understanding the current legislation, types and main measures for the provision of social services will be an advantage;
• Experience of work or cooperation with the following state institutions and institutions: centers for the provision of social services, centers for the provision of administrative services, services for children, territorial centers of social services, management of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, departments of social protection of the population;
• At least 2 years of experience working in humanitarian organizations, with people with limited mobility (persons of the elderly age, persons with disabilities) and other vulnerable categories of the population - will be an advantage;
• Experience working with internally displaced persons - will be an advantage;
• Ability to speak the client's language and prepare educational materials;
• Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and agree on joint tasks;
• Understanding and compliance with the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation;
• An advantage given to candidates who have their own car.
