BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of the protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The SHARP PULSE project is financed by FCDO and is aimed at protecting and supporting the civilian population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The project is implemented by a consortium of Ukrainian and international organizations, where each organization brings its expertise and works in a specific field. It aims to protect and support IDPs and other vulnerable groups through emergency assistance (evacuations, temporary accommodation, financial support), ensuring access to basic services (legal aid, documentation, social transport), as well as national advocacy for reforms in the areas of protection, compensation and social policy. Special attention is paid to children, people with disabilities, the elderly, veterans, victims of domestic violence and other vulnerable categories.

In the period from September 2025 to March 2028, the Fund will implement measures to monitor protection, provide legal assistance, strengthening access to basic services and building resilience of communities in the regions of Ukraine:Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv regions.

The project is implemented in regions and communities with a high level of security risks (in particular, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya regions). BF "Right to Protection" organizes working conditions taking into account the security context and provides measures to reduce risks and protect the team.

As part of the project, a specialist in social issues will work in the city of Mykolaiv and within Mykolaiv region, where there is the greatest need for help to ensure quick access to vital services for people who affected by the war and are unable to get to the relief centers on their ownthey will provide information on social issues, help in the preparation of documents and solving social issues.  The specialist will provide a case management service: assessment of a person's needs, development of an individual plan of assistance and coordination in obtaining social support from various services and ensuring a holistic approach to protection issues. 400; font-style: normal">

  • Identification of persons and families in need of social support;

  • Providing social assistance to affected persons: social services of counseling, information, physical support, representation of interests in accordance with needs, as well as case management;

  • Assistance to identified affected persons/beneficiaries in obtaining additional services (medical, social, psychological, legal, provision of temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral, if necessary, to relevant general or specialized support services for affected persons and/or other subjects;

  • Maintaining contact with local authorities and their institutions, as well as other humanitarian organizations;

  • Reporting in the Fund's internal database;

  • Comply with the Foundation's Code of Conduct and Policies;

  • Preference is given to candidates who have their own car.

  • PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Higher education in the field of social, legal, psychological or humanitarian sciences;
    • Understanding current legislation and methods of providing social services will be an advantage;
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different categories of the population;
    • Experience working with internally displaced persons will be an advantage;
    • Knowledge of privacy principles and work with personal data;
    • Understanding humanitarian principles and gender approach;
    • Attention to details, ability to work in difficult conditions;
    • Strong communication skills, autonomy in work, proactivity and flexibility.
