The Right to Protection, CF
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a leading human rights organization in in Ukraine, specializing in the protection of the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs), stateless persons and other vulnerable categories of the population. Since the start of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Fund has been monitoring the situation, providing legal and psychosocial assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the affected regions. Today, the Fund implements programs of legal aid and protection of human rights in almost all regions of Ukraine.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion Poltava region has become a place where a significant number is concentrated internally displaced persons. This region became a kind of stronghold for those who were forced to leave their hometowns and villages and to this day is a place where people stay after displacement and continue to rebuild their lives.In order to cover the social problems of such people BF “Right to Defense”in partnership with The UN Refugee Agency implements the project "Advocacy, Protection and Legal Assistance for Internally Displaced Persons".
The position of a social worker will function in within the framework of the project "Advocacy, protection and legal assistance to internally displaced persons", implemented in the Poltava region. The main activity is in the city of Myrhorod with the involvement of local communities. The main tasks include identifying the needs of the affected persons, providing social support.
