Specialist in social cohesion and understanding in The Right to Protection, CF

GENERAL INFORMATION

BF "Right to Protection" (Fund) is a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization providing assistance to refugees. The Foundation focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

The goal of the project is to strengthen the resilience and resilience of people affected by the conflict in Ukraine through timely access to multisectoral humanitarian aid and information management support. 

The project provides integration activities in selected communities of the target regions with the aim of improving the psycho-emotional state of the beneficiaries and increasing the level of social cohesion in the partner communities.

The target audience of the project activities are elderly people and people with disabilities living in the communities of Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The specialist in community development and implementation of integration activities (hereinafter referred to as the Specialist) will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relations and communication with selected target communities, community leaders, planning and solving organizational issues regarding integration activities, organizing and conducting activities in communities, in particular trainings and integration activities. The specialist works under the supervision of the Expert on Social Cohesion and Understanding and will report to the Expert and the Project Manager. 

The specialist will carry out his activities in a hybrid format. The position involves frequent business trips for direct communication with representatives of the target communities of the above-mentioned areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SPECIALIST

• Work autonomously with the scope of tasks and activities determined by the Coordinator for Social Cohesion and Understanding and the Project Manager in the field of social cohesion; 
• Establish and maintain cooperation with key interested communities, local authorities, partners of the Fund;
• Ensure regular and effective communication with selected communities;
• Support the resolution of organizational issues regarding integration activities in communities together with the event manager and representatives of the Program;
• Prepare training programs and integrationйні заходи у відповідності до тематики, визначеної Експертом з соцзгуртованості та представником програми; 
• Здійснювати особисте проведення оф-лайн заходів (інтеграційних заходів, тренінгів), забезпечувати їх модерацію та фасилітацію;
• Готувати високоякісні та своєчасні звіти про результати проведення інтеграційних заходів, ідентифікувати можливі виклики у реалізації проєкту на місцях та передавати цей звіт Менеджеру проєкту;
• За погодженням та/або дорученням Експерта з соцзгуртованості представляти проєкт під час відповідних зустрічей із громадами, на відповідних координаційних форумах з партнерськими організаціями та стейкхолдерами;
• Підтримувати регулярне спілкування, обмін інформацією з цільовими громадами, представниками регіональних команд, фахівцями мобільних груп, програмою соцзгуртованості та порозуміння;
• Готувати проєкти аналітичних та моніторингового звітів за напрямком, визначеним Координатором з питань соціальної згуртованості і порозуміння, а також документи, що супроводжують ці активності;
• Відслідковувати тенденції розвитку практики і законодавства в сфері децентралізації та соціальної згуртованості , інформувати членів команди соціальної згуртованості і порозуміння про основні зміни;
• Регулярно здійснювати координацію результатів діяльності з командою соціальної згуртованості і порозуміння для забезпечення реалізації стратегії напрямку та/або внесення до неї змін, якщо це необхідно;
• Підтримувати діяльність Фонду у будь-яких інших необхідних аспектах та надавати консультації персоналу Фонду з будь-яких питань соціальної згуртованості, як може вимагатись.

ПРОФЕСІЙНІ ВИМОГИ

• Вища освіта у галузі соціальної роботи, соціальних наук, соціальних комунікацій, досліджень розвитку публічного управління та адміністрування, психології тощо;
• Досвід роботи в міжнародних донорських проєктах, які стосуються гуманітарної допомоги та благодійності (досвід роботи в проєктах, що фінансуються США, буде перевагою);
• Вільне володіння українською мовою, володіння англійською мовою буде перевагою;
• Підтверджений досвід роботи з громадами або органами місцевого самоврядування чи управління та/або тренерський досвід у сфері соціальної згуртованості, соціальних комунікацій, фасилітації діалогу; 
• Досвід тренерства, медіації, фасилітації буде перевагою;
• Досвід роботи з бенефіціарами літнього віку та людьми з інвалідністю буде перевагою;
• Готовність до відряджень у межах України;
• Сильні комунікативні та організаційні навички;
• Вміння працювати з групою та індивідуально;
• Вміння налагоджувати та підтримувати контакти;
• Високий рівень самомотивації для досягнення результату;
• Культурна чутливість та дипломатичність;
• Справедливе ставлення до всіх людей, відсутність фаворитизму;
• Справедливе ставлення до всіх людей, відсутність упередженості та дискримінації. Дотримання принципів гендерної рівності та нульової толерантності до сексуальних домагань;
• Відмінні навички міжособистісного спілкування;
• Здатність якісно працювати під тиском і в нfavorable conditions;
