The DOT Defense Procurement Agency is a state enterprise engaged in the procurement of equipment, ammunition, UAVs, food, clothing, fuel and lubricants for the Armed Forces and the Defense Forces.

We are now looking for a colleague for the position of Leading specialist in internal communications, who will help the team go through the period of unification, build clear processes and warm, honest communication within the organization.

The role of a specialist in this position — to be a partner for employees and newcomers (help people adapt, understand processes, feel involved and see meaning in their work), as well as an organizer of internal activities.

What you need to do:

• Participate in the development of internal communications and corporate culture.
• Write and update internal texts and documents: guides, policies, announcements, onboarding materials.
• Fill internal communication channels (chats, digests, mail, portals).
• Organize and conduct onboarding of newcomers.
• Accompany employees during the adaptation period.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with employees for feedback and support.
• Participate in engagement research (surveys, feedback, eNPS).
• Organize internal events and communication campaigns.
• Work with sector documents and systematize processes.
• Take on internal projects and bring them to fruition.

You will suit us if:

• You have at least 1 year of experience in internal communications, HR, engagement or related roles in an NGO, startup or product / IT company.
• You like to work with texts and documents and know how to explain complex things simply.
• You are comfortable communicating with newcomers and company employees.
• Able to manage internal channels: chats, digests, announcements, guides.
• You have experience or interest in employee engagement and culture.
• Partner in work style: calm, empathetic and systematic.
• Able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Independent and responsible for result.
• You share the values of service, transparency and responsibility.
• An important mission for you is to work to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in a product or international IT company.
• Basic understanding of recruiting, LandD, performance, compandben.
• Interest in psychology or facilitation.
• Volunteer experience.
