Social worker (Pre-contact HIV prevention), Kyiv in ALYaNS.GLOBAL, Gromadska organizaciya

Alliance.Global Public Organization is looking for a Social Worker in the city of Kyiv.

About the Organization:

Public organization "ALLIANS.GLOBAL" specializes in providing services for HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among men who have sex with men (MSM), focusing on the development and consolidation of the LGBTIQ+ community; protection of human rights and promotion of reduction of homo-, bi- and transphobia in Ukrainian society.

Main duties of a social worker:

1. Search and recruitment of clients for PrEP (Pre-contact HIV prevention).
2. Counseling of clients regarding participation in the DCP (pre-contact HIV prevention) program, support for receiving DCP and compliance with the adherence regime.
3. Providing consultations on the organization of social marketing of distribution preventive (condoms, lubricants, PrEP) and informational (booklets, leaflets) materials.
4. Providing consultations to project clients regarding the goals and objectives of the project, the services provided, and informational and educational measures implemented in within the framework of the project.
5. Compilation of primary documentation necessary within the framework of project implementation.
6. Participation in work meetings of the project team.

Requirements for candidates:

• Experience in communicating with the community MSM/LGBT.
• Experience/hobby of creative realization.
• High level of tolerance.
• Basic awareness of issues of MSM/LGBTI movement and HIV services will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, high self-organization, focus on results.  
• Absence of obvious or potential conflict of interest. 
• Actual residence in the city of Kyiv.

Term of service provision: from 04/15/2026 to 12/31/2026 with the possibility of extension.

Type of employment:part-time with flexible schedule.

Terms of payment:

Payment for services is made in cashless form after their provision and signing of the Service Provision Act. It is expected that all expenses related to the provision of services within the framework of this competition are carried out by the service provider at its own expense. Prepayment is not provided.  It is desirable to have a FOP of group III.
