General information about the position
Under the leadership of the Lead Specialist in Social Work Programs, is responsible for the implementation of protection measures (including PSP) in the region, including direct implementation, communication with defense partners and operational support, team support.
Specific duties and responsibilities< /p>
- With the help of a leading specialist in social work programs and a technical group on protection issues, plans and organizes the implementation of protection measures in the region;
- Responsible for the preparation of reporting documentation for the main types of activities in within the framework of projects;
- Assists the leading specialist of social work programs in the management of security and PPS teams;
- Closely cooperates with the identified partners of the organization in the implementation of project activities;
- Prepares information related to the implementation of components (including weekly / monthly / interim / final reports);
- Maintains, organizes and regulates reporting documentation of partners, internal and external documentation of the project (including documentation for the donor);< /li>
- With the support of the lead social work program specialist, planning and managing the procurement of all necessary equipment and supplies for protection programs, including regular restocking as needed.
- Ensures proper, timely and accurate data collection and/or data entry for internal and/or external reports, their systematization and archiving;
- Responsible for the availability of accurate, complete and up-to-date information necessary for development, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation;
- Responsible for organizing and conducting educational seminars/trainings for community members, specialists and partners;
- Collects up-to-date information on protection needs from local communities and evaluates / analyzes interventions;
- Regularly visits project sites, assesses progress and reports results to regional manager;

- Participates in meetings with local authorities, civil servants in the field of protection and PSP;
- Performs other necessary tasks and duties within the framework of project/department activities as assigned by the manager;

Required experience and qualifications
- Higher education in psychology, sociology, social sciences, international relations or a similar discipline (higher education in in the field of psychology will be an advantage);
- Certificates of training in the humanitarian sector related to such topics as the provision of PPS, actualization of protection issues, GON, will be an additional advantage;
- 2 -3 years of work experience in the humanitarian/development sector, NGOs or other organizations;
- Experience of working with communities and stakeholders implementing protection/PSP programs;
- Experience of working with vulnerable populations (people with disabilities, elderly people, people living with chronic diseases, etc.) on issues of protection and psychosocial support;
- Developed communication skills, including written;
- Ability to draw up reports;
- Ability to manage projects and people;
- Proficiency in English (B1+) will be an advantage;
- Ability to work in a team;
- High level of self-organization and self-control;
- Ability to work in tight deadlines;
- Attention to details;
