Recrucial supports its client - a fast-growing LegalTech & FinTech product company - in the search for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
This role is at the heart of a large-scale, multi-year transformation: modernizing dozens of business-critical systems, consolidating legacy architectures and providing high-volume data processing on a global levels.
You will play a key role in the development of the data core of the platform: you will create reliable PL/SQL logic, optimize the performance of the database and influence the data-driven features of the product.
Responsibilities
Development, refactoring and support of stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers
SQL/PLSQL analysis and tuning (execution plans, tracing, profiling)
Improvement of indexing, partitioning, SQL structure
Work with optimizer hints and statistics for stable work under load
Work with Oracle capabilities
Design and support of materialized views, sequences, synonyms, partitioned tables
Implementation of complex transactions with a guarantee of data integrity and consistency
Participation in logical and physical data modeling with a focus on performance
Reliability, maintainability, security
Implementation of reliable error and exception handling handling
Using Git or SVN
Participation in CI/CD to deliver changes to the DB
Working in Agile/Scrum (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Requirements (Must-have)
4+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Database Developer
Confident mastery of:
procedures, functions, packages, triggers
dynamic SQL, bulk operations, ref cursors, collections
SQL & PL/SQL performance tuning
Deep knowledge of Oracle:
materialized views, sequences, synonyms
partitioning, advanced indexing
transactions, blocking, concurrency
Practical experience with:
Oracle SQL Developer / TOAD
version control systems (Git or SVN)
Agile/Scrum
Nice to have
Experience with Oracle TimesTen
