Senior Fullstack Engineer in Kozak Agency

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer for an outstaff project.

About the project:

It’s an early days of a product in product in the health insurance quoting space. This will be a rebuild of a prototype into production-ready software. Exciting time for someone joining early and take initiative on architecture.

The engineer will work on developing new features, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and managing the full development lifecycle using a JavaScript stack. They’ll be responsible for migrating existing functionality, adding new features, and deploying on a HIPAA-compliant platform. The engineer’s work will be foundational for the product’s growth and possible future team expansion.

Overlap with PST.

Requirements:
Looking for a very senior, product-oriented FS engineer with little need for guidance, and:

• Proficiency in JavaScript stack: Node.js, Express, React

• Experience with HIPAA, SOC2, and High Trust compliance

• Familiarity with Postgres and TypeORM
• Knowledge of CICD and GitHub Actions
• Database management skills

• Experience building production-grade software
• Security, authentication, and authorization expertise
• Ability to structure RESTful APIs with proper semantics
• Ability to work with design frameworks and have good UI/UX sense
• Capable of breaking down high-level requirements into epics and stories
• Comfortable with the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work asynchronously

• English: at least Upper-Intermediate
