BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of military operations, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal framework, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The position will operate within the framework of the project "Response Consortium: provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine", which is implemented under the coordination of the international humanitarian organization AKTED, and focuses its attention on the mechanisms of protection of the population affected by the conflict and IDPs in the target regions. 

The goal of the project is to strengthen the resilience and resilience of conflict-affected people in Ukraine through timely access to multisectoral humanitarian aid and information management support.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the distribution of humanitarian aid; creates applications for assistance in the accounting system; creates aid delivery documents;

  • Creates purchase requests for goods, monitors timely processing and registration of such requests; communicates with suppliers regarding the conditions and documents for receiving goods for storage;

  • Participates in planning the departure of monitoring and distribution teams of the assigned region, ensures timely information of team leaders and management about the readiness of the goodsin for shipment;

  • Communicates with the administrations of institutions regarding clarifications of collected needs, analogs, agrees on the time and other terms of delivery of goods;

  • Makes visits to the delivery of goods, controls the completeness of the delivered goods and specifications; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Notifies warehouse and other logistics contractors about the goods movement;

  • for warehouse storage;

  • Reports to the Lead specialist in material aid accounting for the period and upon request about all operations related to the provision of aid in kind

  • Refers to the main office for audit; text-decoration: none">Responsible for the completion of project reporting documents;

  • Follow the Code of Conduct and the Foundation's Policy. style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Professional skills: 

    • Experience as a logistician or a senior storekeeper;

    • Experience with accounting systems (preferably 1C);  

    • The ability tocommunicate with different teams, explain the features and requirements of accounting, provide support and assistance when working with documentation;

    • Reconciliation with partners for the reporting period, adjusting accounts in case of discrepancies;

    • Working with complaints of warehouse and transport damage to goods;

    • Experience in working with regular reports in terms of product balances;

    • Understanding the principles of material responsibility;

    • Good analytical skills and attention to detail;

    • Aspiration for teamwork;

    • Self-motivation;

    • Flexibility.
