Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

About the project

Kauri One develops infrastructure solutions and data-driven platforms for international products. Within the framework of the project, the team works on ensuring stability, security and scalability of production systems with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The main priorities are reliability, security, automation and cost efficiency.

What you will do

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for continuous delivery/deployment

• Work with dev and ops teams to ensure fast and stable of releases

• Automate processes (testing, deployment, monitoring)

• Implement and support monitoring & alerting, proactively find problems

• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions

• Manage and scale resources in GCP, optimize costs (FinOps)

• Adhere to security best practices and compliance

• Constantly improve reliability, automation and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps / Platform / SRE Engineer

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Pulumi

• Docker, Kubernetes

• CI/CD: GitLab CI / GitHub Actions / Bitbucket Pipelines

• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (or similar)

• Experience with production systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and systems thinking

• English: B2+

Will be a plus

• SRE practices (SLI/SLO, error budgets, incident management)

• FinOps / cost optimization in GCP

• Security hardening, IAM, access management

• Experience in optimizing data-heavy workloads

Work format and design

• Remote-first

• Full-time

• Contract for 6 months with the possibility of extension

• Registration through Diya.Employment (official employment)

• Possibility of reservation (according to law)
