About the role: As a Senior Delivery Manager, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for a passionate, energetic, self-driven manager-leader who will be driving organization and supervision of necessary processes, teams, structure and technology services composition to successfully deliver what Ciklum Clients expect to achieve their business goals. The role of the Delivery Manager is to ensure smooth projects delivery on all stages within agreed deadlines, scope, quality and budget. The Senior Delivery Manager will be the primary point of contact for clients during the delivery phase. Responsibilities: Highlighting of a project's potential risks/delays during the delivery process Creating and implementing, control and monitoring of a project plan Balancing of competing constraints on the project with the resources and priorities availableBuilding and keeping close relationships with your customers on all levelsCoordination of external and internal stakeholders that are involved in the projectMonitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessaryManaging scope, change requests, risks, and resources allocation/utilizationInvoking configuration management (release process) processesManaging possible risks and issues within the limits of time, cost and quality, including the development of contingency plansManaging project budget, time, and delivery with respect to vendor related projectsNote: these high-level responsibilities may undergo modification at a later date subject to mutual agreementRequirements: You are a customer and service-focused person and meet people as equals, build trust and sustainable customer relationshipsThrough this relationship, you're able to deliver and grow your accounts, which leads to a sustainable business in your area of ​​responsibilityAgile Delivery / Project Management experience and strong commercial understanding, ideally within Managed Services and IT Outsourcing industry, minimum 5 yearsIn-depth understanding and practical experience with Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban)Ability to perform project manager's activities and provide supervision during Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closing phasesExperience in managing multiple agile teams in projects of 25-75 FTEStrong service/client oriented attitude, focus on an outcomeSolid understanding of change and expectations managementA proven track record of successful project implementation in a software environmentAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentProblem-solving attitude using system-thinking approachesAbility to manage contractual terms and financial issuesAdvanced level of spoken and written EnglishDesirable:Experience in managing multiple distributed teamsTechnical background (software development, QA, DevOps, etc)Product Management backgroundKnowledge of the latest trends at SW development technologies and toolsSpoken and written German as a plusExperience in creating and running trainings, workshops, other educational activitiesAgile and/or PMI certificationExperience with SAFe or LeSSExperience in coaching, mentoring and conducting of trainingsWhat`s in it for you?Care: your mental and physical health is our priority.
