Senior Cyber Security Engineer in Softsich

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and improvement of security systems (SIEM, WAF, EDR/Antivirus, MDM etc.).

• Handling of security events and incidents reported by individuals or systems (SIEM, EDR, WAF etc.).

• Validating cloud architecture design from a security perspective.

• Implement and Improve security controls related to ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance.

• Development and maintenance of incident response.

• Develop scripts, tools and methodologies to improve security monitoring systems.

• Provide consulting services to operations and engineers to help them build more secure information systems.

• Ownership of company-wide IAM.

Requirements:

• At least bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, cyber security, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in cyber security.

• Strong hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management, Incident Management & Automation systems (developing, implementing and managing).

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing security compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).

• Strong technical knowledge of networking and security protocols.

• Practical experience with EDR, Antivirus, Web Security Proxy, WAF, DLP, PAM, Vulnerability Scanners, MDM.

• Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS hardening.

• In-depth understanding and knowledge of securing and hardening windows, Unix/Linux operating systems.

• Experience with identity and access management systems.
