Senior Engineer from computer systems (Communication Channel Support Group) is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of corporate data transmission channels, network infrastructure support and prompt response to incidents. The position involves a high level of technical competence, responsibility and the ability to make informed decisions in conditions of increased requirements for service continuity. style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: 700">:

• Ensuring smooth operation of communication channels and promptly resolving incidents.
• Conducting diagnostics, analyzing the causes of failures and implementing corrective measures.
• Technical support of equipment, updating configurations and planning works.
• Monitoring the condition of network equipment, redundancy and bandwidth of channels.
• Interaction with communication operators and technical support services to resolve incidents.
• Maintenance of technical documentation, creation of diagrams, instructions and reports.
• Participation in modernization of network infrastructure and implementation of new solutions.
• Mentoring of juniors engineers and transfer of expert knowledge in the team.

Your ideal profile:
Must-have:

• Higher technical education
• Deep understanding of network technologies and protocols: Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, VLAN, OSPF/BGP (preferred).
• Experience with communication channels: optical, IP/MPLS, VPN, redundant connection schemes.
• Experience in operating Linux systems and using server services.
• Skills in monitoring and analyzing the performance of networks and systems.
• Experience of interaction with providers, contractors and technical units.
• Ability to work with technical documentation, leadwork accounting and reporting.
• Analytical thinking, responsibility, ability to make independent decisions.

Nice-to-have:

• Work experience with Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik or other enterprise platforms.
• Practical automation skills (Ansible, Python, Bash).
• Understanding of NetOps/DevOps approaches.
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, Loki, etc.).
• Knowledge of the principles of building highly available network solutions.
• Willingness to work in the Kyiv office
