Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) in Rekrutingoviy centr SIL BEZPILOTNIH SISTEM

The 414th separate brigade of unmanned systems "Birds of Madyar" is a high-tech unit within the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specializing in the use of strike, reconnaissance and radio electronic systems. The brigade has its own production, engineering and design, and restoration and repair facilities, as well as software development departments. The department is looking for a strong and motivated Node.js developer to work on internal tools.

Responsibilities

• requirement analysis and finding technical solutions
• design, development and support of backend functionality on Node.js/TypeScript
• writing understandable, efficient and high-quality code
• code coverage tests
• documentation creation

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience on Node.js/TypeScript
• nest.js experience would be an advantage
• relational database experience
• code coverage experience (unit/integration/e2e)
• knowledge of Docker and working with containers
• ability to work with CI/CD-pipelines
• knowledge of English at a level sufficient to work with technical documentation
• proactivity and responsibility

Conditions

• mobilization or service by contract
• possibility of transferring active military personnel
• possibility of service for candidates who, according to the conclusion of the VLK, are suitable for service in military support units, TCCs and SPs, high schools, educational centers, etc.
• financial support from 50,000 hryvnias depending on the conditions of service
• service in the south and east of Ukraine
• 15 days of official leave every 6 months
