Security Analyst (Threat and Malware Analysis) in Fast Corporate LTD

Location: Kyiv, hybrid work format.

About the role:

We are looking for a Security Analyst who will be involved in checking applications for malicious behavior, analyzing their activity in the system and help identify potential security risks.

This is a role for someone who is interested in working with VM and Sandbox environments, program behavior analysis and basic malware techniques.

What you will be doing:

• Checking programs and installers for malicious activity.
• Analysis of program behavior in the system.
• Checking digital signatures and file integrity.
• Static and dynamic analysis of executables.
• Monitoring system activity of processes, services, registry and file system.
• Network analysis activity.
• Identifying suspicious or dangerous activities.
• Working with VM and Sandbox environments.
• Documenting the results of analysis and risks found.
• Interacting with the development team.

What is important to us:

• Experience in the field of information security or strong security awareness, with practice in program analysis and threat scanning.
• Understanding the principles of Windows operating system, including processes, services, registry and file system.
• Experience with VM or Sandbox will be a plus.
• Basic experience in analyzing programs or executables will be a plus.
• Confident work with Procmon, Process Explorer, Autoruns, Wireshark, Sysmon, VirusTotal or similar tools.
• Understanding of digital signatures and basic PKI principles.
• Understanding of basic malware and persistence techniques.
• Basic skills of working with PowerShell or CMD.
• Basic higher education inmajor in Cybersecurity or related.
• English language level B1 or higher.

Technologies and tools:

Windows, Procmon, Process Explorer, Autoruns, Wireshark, Sysmon, Threat intelligence tools (VirusTotal, Shodan, URLScan, theHarvester), VM, Sandbox, PowerShell, CMD.
