GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of hostilities, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
BF "Right to Protection" is a partner of the Response Consortium within the framework of the implementation of the project "Provision of multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine (2023-2026)" under the financial support of the US Government. The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The project is implemented in regions and communities, including those with a high level of security risks (in particular, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson regions). BF "Right to Protection" organizes working conditions taking into account the security context and provides measures to reduce risks and protect the team.
BF "Right to Protection" is looking for a candidate for the positionResearch Methodologist in of defense.
Duties and tasks
Compares the results of measuring the index of social cohesion with the context of events (format, duration, tools, level of involvement, partnership, role of beneficiaries).
Identifies "practices that work" - approaches/formats that systematically give better dynamics of the index.
Describes best practices in a scalable format: success conditions, key elements, risks, what is needed to replicate in other communities.
Provides feedback communication about data quality and typical errors, suggests corrective actions.
Participates in the implementation of data quality control programs (detection and elimination of errors in databases; conducting primary analysis to verify the reliability of information).
Collects and analyzes secondary data (desk research).
Preparation of analytical reports of various levels (analytical materials that demonstrate the impact of integration activities, information and analytical digests) on a regular basis.
Professional requirementsи
Higher education in social sciences, sociology or related fields.
At least two years of experience in the preparation of reports, thematic digests, etc.
Knowledge of research methods (quantitative and qualitative) and experience with them.
Basic analytical and critical skills of interpreting research data and drawing meaningful conclusions. none">Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods is a plus. advantage.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of data analysis and presentation skills." of research.
