We seek a talented and driven Research Analyst to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success. You’ll work directly with stakeholders on various projects, which will influence the shaping of our new products. You’ll be free to choose an appropriate research method.

Market & Customer Research Service team is part of a huge MacPaw’s Data Science department. It is responsible for providing actionable and meaningful data-driven insights that represent the voice of multiple customers (internal/external) by designing and conducting research to develop MacPaw’s products and services that provide value and drive business goals.

You will join an experienced team of six specialists, including a Market and customer Research Service Manager and Research Analysts.
The team has frequent sync-ups and one-to-one meetings to synchronise, discuss new ideas and difficulties, or share experiences. The team members use Slack, mail, Jira/Сonfluence, Zoom for day-to-day operations and team collaboration. They also use Google Sheets and Google Slides to design and conduct different research.

In this role, you will:

• Establish a relevant research process, define and approve with the client (product/product marketing managers) the main steps, involved participants, timeline, preferred reports, and data
• Define and prepare relevant research tools — survey questionnaires, interview guides; and utilize internal/external resources
• Launch, coordinate, and conduct particular research, including running an initial test to check data validity and fine-tune it if needed to receive relevant and actionable research results
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of research results, draw conclusions and insights based on the data, and provide the client with comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations fulfilling their request.
• Analyze external and internal research databases aimed to gain relevant information on customer behavior, experience, and trends and enhance product development teams

Skills you’ll need to bring:

• Proven experience as a Research Analyst or similar role
• Quantitative research experience (knowledge of designing and conducting surveys, and analyzing received information)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to create clear, concise reports and deliver presentations that explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
• Experience in communication with stakeholders for whom the research is being conducted
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• At least an Intermediate level of English & fluent Ukrainian

As a plus:

• Qualitative research experience: conducting in-depth interviews and / or analyzing the received qualitative data
• Advanced statistical analysis
• UX Research Experience
