About

We’re seeking a  Structured Cabling Design Engineer with experience in fiber optic and copper data cabling, cable installation, and cable assembly, knowledge of measuring equipment, and methods in the field of data cabling.
The client is a high-tech company with experience in impedance-controlled and optical connectivity solutions and is looking for a data center’s cabling solution to automatically guide the cable installation.

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of standards like ANSI/TIA-942, ANSI/TIA-568, DCSA
• Experience with software like AutoCad, Visio, or similar
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper data cabling
• Experience in the field of cable installation and cable assembly
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and methods in the field of data cabling
• Error analysis and basic troubleshooting of fiber optic and copper data cabling

Responsibilities

• Brainstorming with the client-side technicians to document and validate the processes and rules of the cable installation
• Error analysis and basic troubleshooting of fiber optic and copper data cabling in cooperation with the client subject-matter expert
• Build the vision on the possible automation in collaboration with the software development team
