In 2026, as part of the project, the Fund will monitor the protection of the rights of IDPs and provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, veterans and their families in the regions of Ukraine. Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and the needs of the project.
Within the current project, the Foundation is working on improving the living conditions of people in compact housing. The project involves monitoring the condition of the premises to determine priority repair works, drawing up defect reports, holding tenders for selecting contractors and performing repair works, which will be accepted by the relevant institutions in terms of quantity and quality. The goal of the project is not only to improve physical living conditions, but also to provide greater stability and security for vulnerable population groups, supporting their right to a dignified life.
Purpose of the position
Ensuring high-quality, timely and technically justified implementation of repair works in social institutions and places of temporary residence (MTP) by taking full responsibility for technical solutions, organizing the work of engineers at the facilities and managing interaction with subcontractors.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing repair works, namely development of detailed schedules and planslevel of work at the facilities, coordination of resources (materials, equipment, personnel) for repairs.
- Technical control and documentation: verification of measurements and initial data to determine the expediency of repair solutions, preparation and final filling of defect reports, analysis of drawings, specifications and BoQ, control of compliance of the completed works with construction regulations, initiation of technical adjustments tasks as necessary.
- Management of field engineers:formation of travel schedules, distribution of workload and determination of priorities, quality control of technical support and decision-making regarding the escalation of problems.
- Interaction with contractors: control of work performed by contractors, solving technical and organizational issues, participation in meetings, visits to facilities and acceptance of completed works, formation of technical conclusions and recommendations for management.
- Risk management and reporting: analysis of technical risks, delays and problems during repairs, preparation of management and technical reports for management and the project team, cooperation with the manager of the repair department and design specialists to agree on complex solutions and modernization of engineering networks.

- Building norms and standards (DSTU, SNiP, technical standards).
- Work with technical documentation: drawings, specifications, BoQ, defect reports.
- Planning and organization of repair works, resource management.

Candidate requirements
- Experience in construction, repair or technical support of projects (preferably in the social/humanitarian sector).
- Knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Experience in coordinating a team of engineers and working with contractors.
- Ability to make informed technical decisions and manage risks.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies.
