GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of war, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.
The project "Complex services for the protection of the civilian population affected by hostilities and improving the resilience skills of workers who come to help first" aims to protect and supporting the rights of internally displaced persons, war-affected populations, stateless persons, and veterans and their families at the national, local, and individual levels. In 2026, the Fund, as part of the project, will monitor the protection of the rights of IDPs and provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, veterans and their families in the regions of Ukraine.
The geography of activity includes the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and the needs of the project.
Within the current project, the Foundation is working on improving the living conditions of people in compact housing. The project involves monitoring the condition of the premises to determine priority repair works, drawing up defect reports, holding tenders for selecting contractors and performing repair works, which will be accepted by the relevant institutions in terms of quantity and quality. The goal of the project is not only to improve the physical living conditions, but also to provide greater stability and security for vulnerable population groups, supporting their right to a dignified life. none">Ensuring high-quality, timely and technically justified implementation of repair works in social institutions and places of temporary residence (MTP) by taking full responsibility for technical solutions, organizing the work of engineers at the facilities and managing the interaction with subcontractors.
Key responsibilities :
Planning and organization of repair works, namely development of detailed schedules and plans of works on objects, coordination of resources (materials, equipment,personnel) to carry out repairs.
Technical control and documentation: verification of measurements and output data to determine the feasibility of repairs decisions, preparation and final filling of defective documents, analysis of drawings, specifications and BoQ, control of compliance of the performed works with construction regulations, initiation of adjustments of technical tasks if necessary. by engineers:formation of departure schedules, load distribution and prioritization, quality control of technical support and decision-making regarding the escalation of problems.
: control of the execution of works by contractors, participation in meetings, visits to facilities and the formation of technical conclusions and recommendations for management.

Requirements for the candidate
Experience in construction, repair or technical support of projects (preferably in the social/humanitarian sector).
Knowledge of building codes and standards.
Experience in coordinating a team of engineers and working with contractors.
Ability to make sound technical decisions and manage risks.
Comply with the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies.
