Charitable organization "Stabilization Support Services Charitable Foundation" (BO "SSS") announces an open competition to fill the vacant position of a regional social specialist in the Chernihiv region (Specialist in social work Code 2446.2) in the project"Supporting the capacity of state institutions and local communities in strengthening the social protection system in Ukraine",which is being implemented by the "SCC" with financial supportCharitable organization "Stabilization Service" since 2015supports and helps people affected by the war in Ukraine, as well as the development of social assistance and human rights institutions in our country.

The CSS team works both at the regional level and at the national level - with involving our national experts. Responsibilities:

• Providing legal information, clarifications on legal issues to specialists in the social sphere (representatives of bodies / organizations providing social protection population);

• Writing of legal documents (except procedural documents);

• Preparation of written appeals, requests for receiving information;

• Communication support with state authorities, local self-government bodies, structural subdivisions of the social protection system and public organizations;

• Organization of public events within the project;" persons;

• Performance of other ongoing project tasks;

• Preparation of reports based on work results. 

  Requirements for the candidate:

• Experience in providing services in this field;

• Experience of participation in public activities;

• Understanding the local context of internal displacement;

• Awareness of humanitarian principles and standards of human rights;

• Understanding the context of the sphere of ensuring the rights and freedoms of IDPs;

• Experience of cooperation with local and regional authorities;

• Confident use of PC and mobile devices;

• A confident user of Microsoft Office and G-Suite;

• Ability to meet deadlines, time management skills;

• Strong communication skills;

• High level of motivation and willingness to work in the social sphere;

• Ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment;

• Fluency in the Ukrainian language (knowledge of English will be an advantage).

The competition will be held in three stages: the first stage is evaluation of resumes, the second stage is interviews with candidates invited based on the results of the first stage, and the third stage is the provision of recommendations.
