The Response Consortium is implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian aid program for the population affected by the conflict in Ukraine. The Goal is to strengthen people's resilience and ability to overcome the consequences of war through timely access to multisectoral support and quality information management. The target groups are internally displaced persons, people affected by the war, returnees after the reduction of the intensity of hostilities, with the priority of supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities.
The geography of implementation is urban and remote rural communities of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. The economic capacity building component is implemented in Poltava, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
BF "Pravo na skhet" is looking for a candidate for the position of Regional coordinator of the direction of repairs in social institutions in the city of Kharkiv (Kharkiv region).
GEOGRAPHY OF COVERAGE
The regional coordinator is based in the city of Kharkiv. The activity involves regular visits within the established regions (Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa), as well as possible business trips to other cities.
DUTIES AND DUTIES
- responsible for achieving project results in the assigned areas on time, with the fulfillment of all requirements and specialdetails of the project application and within the agreed budget;
- prepares planned and unplanned reports on operational activities within the framework of the project;
- presents the results of the implementation of project activities at internal and external discussions of the project, cluster coordination meetings;
TASKS WITHIN THE PROJECT
In cooperation with the program manager, regional engineer team, senior accountant and project manager:
- develop calendar plans for the execution of works on the project;
- establish communication with the administrations of institutions and with representatives of subcontractors;
- establish a system of constant monitoring of the fact of execution of works, maintaining communication with the implementation team, exchange of statuses of work execution;
- regularly carry out visits to the objects in order to control the actual status of the works;
- analyze any deviations from the planned calendar plan;
- take an active part in overcoming the causes of delays in the implementation of project conditions;
- documentally accompany each stage implementation of works, control and agree on volumes and technologies, initiate documentary support for all deviations from the plan;
- respond to incidents that may occur at the places of repairs;
- other unplanned actions aimed at improving the quality of work, preventing the occurrence of negative consequences and reducing losses in the event of incidents;
- Comply with the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- preferably 2 years of experience working in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity;
- high self-motivation, independence, efficiency and the ability to meet deadlines - a must;
- excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;
- ability to gather information in accordance with project goals and objectives;
- skills in preparing and writing reports;
- excellent communication skills;
- strategic thinking and problem solving skills;
- readiness for local and remote business trips (up to 80% of working time);
- having your own car will be an advantage.
A significant advantage will be:
- professional construction education;
- reading construction drawings;
- ability to work with construction documentation and estimates;
- understanding of the processes of construction and repair works, standards of consumption of construction materials;
- ability to evaluate the object from the point of view of the priority necessary construction works.
