UK-Med is an international humanitarian mission with an office in Dnipro and based in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv. The main goal of the organization is to contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality among the local population and internally displaced persons by providing the necessary medical care to vulnerable segments of the population.
We are looking for an interested social work and public relations specialist with well-developed communication and community engagement skills, ready to work with government and health authorities, local communities and IDPs.
The purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to the vulnerable Ukrainian population in response to the internal displacement (refugee) crisis due to the ongoing military conflict, as well as to help strengthen the dialogue between UK-MED medical staff and the communities served. p>
Main duties:
- Establishing clear indicators to measure short-term and intermediate outcomes of activities to promote the health of vulnerable populations.

- Establish strong strategic coordination and relations with the public, civil society organizations, religious groups, local media, as well as UN agencies and other international organizations.
Professional qualifications:
- Experience in conducting health education events
- Experience in making presentations
- Proven experience in health promotion and communications/communications, community-oriented
- Ability to create networks, build partnerships and coordinate with other NGOs and health care organizations
- Fluency in Ukrainian, English will be an advantage
- Medical/paramedical education is mandatory
- Medical/paramedical education
- Willingness to work on the territory of Zaporizhzhia region
