QA Specialist in Job Advice

One ​​of the leading Ukrainian banks is looking for a QA Specialist to expand the team! This is an opportunity for a professional with experience in banking or fintech to contribute to large-scale projects. 

About the bank:
The bank is a member of the Guarantee Fund of deposits of individuals, the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine and a participant in international payment systems VISA International and Mastercard. The bank provides a full range of banking services to private individuals and corporate businesses, paying special attention to the agricultural sector.

Main functional duties:

• ensure the required level of software quality;
• test SR Bank ABS;
• perform all types software testing required in the project;
• manage defects in the project;
• interact with all software development participants in the testing process;
• develop test documentation and provide test reporting;

Main requirements for the candidate:

• experience of working in a similar position in a bank or IT company from 1 year;
• experience of working with ABS SR Bank;
• experience in API testing, as well as experience in working with any rest client (postman or similar);
• experience in database testing;
• knowledge of software development standards and methodologies (WF, Scrum/Agile);
• experience of writing test documentation: plans, methods, reports, scenarios;
• experience of working in the Jira tracking system;

• experience in software defect management in the project;
• knowledge of the principles of web applications (JSON, XML, CSS, HTML);
• understanding of Client-server and Microservices architecture;

• experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL;

It will be a plus:

• knowledge of the banking domain by legal entities (processes, products, technologies);
• knowledge of the working principles of relational DBMS
