Python Engineer (Aerospace / Computer Vision / Embedded AI) in EPAM

We are looking for a Python developer who has worked with Linux and has practical experience in embedded or robotics.

Our team is developing an object detection and analysis system. The solution is based on the use of artificial intelligence and Computer Vision algorithms that work directly on edge devices. The system combines several technological areas: Computer Vision and neural network models for object detection, classification and tracking in the video stream

Engineering teams work at the intersection of several disciplines - artificial intelligence, robotics, embedded systems and real-time systems, creating complex solutions for autonomous work.

What you will be engaged in this role

• Configuration and optimization of firmware for embedded platforms
• Preparation of software packages for installation on microcomputers
• Establishing communication with external systems and testing data exchange protocols
• Participation in testing and configuration systems

What is needed

• Python experience
• Linux experience
• Practical experience with embedded systems or robotics

Will be a plus

• Experience with embedded/real-time platforms
• Knowledge of communication protocols (for example, MAVLink or similar)
• C++ experience
